“Art begins where words stop to express,” says upcoming artist AjayKumar Meshram, who debuts with his first solo exhibition at Gallery Pradarshak from 14th Oct to 26th Oct’13.

With a view that his paintings become  a source of inspiration, hope, compassion and courage for everyone who appreciates their beauty, the young artist has over the last 7 years, since his initial year at art school, honed his skills at textural nuances, a warm palette and the journey of spirituality.

Having started his play of brush work with, at times detailed and at others, sketchy backdrops for the Buddha, the young artist has won over his viewers’ appreciation, each time he has exhibited as part of the student exhibition at Pradarshak.

Blessed with a keen eye for detail, patience as a strong virtue and a gifted artistic hand, AjayKumar is most comfortable using acrylic on canvas. A strong command on anatomy has led him to successfully experiment with other figurative work too but he tends to keep referencing back to his thematic of the Buddha.

In the current series, the artist culminates many years of studying the Yantra. His choice of colours reflect brightness, cosmic and positive energy and with factual references, his paintings can be used for meditation and as a direct spiritual connect.

A must-see exhibition.
