The third in the trilogy of ‘expanding horizons’, a series of exhibitions that speak of an underlying emotional connect on various levels as one traverses the journey of life, this exhibition featuring figurative paintings by eight artists has the woman as its fulcrum.
The chosen artists’ works act as windows into the complexities and mesmerising facets of womanhood – diverse, deeply personal, introspective, offering unique interpretations and posing thought-provoking questions to the viewers. Fantasy and reality vie for attention as the artistic oeuvres highlight the multifaceted nature of womanhood, balancing the aesthetic allure of the female form with her emotions.
