A young impressionable mind, gradually maturing and taking life in her stride as she does, young upcoming artist Vrunda Shikare makes her debut into the professional scenario of fine art with paintings that depict herself in relation to her possessions. 

“Life plays many mind games with us,” says the artist and taking a cue from her immediate surroundings, weaves a narrative of vibrant colours and the little joys of life through her canvases in a series called ”Me and my objects”. 

From realistic to surrealistic and often wrapped in the cocoon of joie de vivre, Vrunda’s canvases promise to take on many a new thematic in the future.
