Ballet of Thoughts

Gallery Pradarshak, India's smallest art gallery, proudly announces, "The Ballet of Thoughts," an interactive art exhibition by visual communication designer Kanchan Dhankani. This unique exhibit, running from 2nd to 8th February 2024, invites visitors to delve into the potent realms of daydreaming and scribbling as gateways to the subconscious mind.

Set in the heart of Khar West, Mumbai, "The Ballet of Thoughts" is not just an art show; it's a transformative experience that encourages participants to disconnect from the bustling modern world and connect with their innermost thoughts and feelings. Each day, the gallery will feature a different creative personality - actors, writers, singers, dancers - who will share their journey, thoughts, and scribbles, offering a rare glimpse into the creative process and its deep links to the subconscious.

Some stalwarts who will be interacting with the visual designer Kanchan Dhankani include: Animation Film Designer Dhimant Vyas, Kathak Exponent Jonaki Raghavan, Photographer Vikram Bawa, reputed Playwright Om Katare among others.

The exhibition culminates on the final day with a comprehensive display of these scribbles, providing an insightful overview of the creative psyche. A mental health specialist, Dr. Shefali Batra will be present to discuss and provide their perspective on this intriguing experiment.
