21st Jan. – 1st Feb. 2019: Pradarshak presents “Dwellings” acrylic on canvas paintings by Ayushi Jain.
“An abode, domicile or a shelter can be miniature or sumptuous, but at the end, it is a home created with utopian dreams and boundless love,” says artist Ayushi Jain.
Her work is inspired by the close observations of the minutiae of existence and the examination of objects that we encounter in our milieu. In giving expression to this thought, the artist strives to create works of art that draw attention to the mellifluous beauty of simple, emotional and functional relationships between human beings and their dwellings.

Her creative approach is driven by the desire to balance both – the realistic and the contemporary - that can be related to by every individual. Infused with layers that are intricately crafted using means such as the brush, palette knife, and her fingers, the artist draws out the essence of her simple, quiet and appealingly sensitive compositions.
