Using a monochromatic palette and the strategic inclusion of the red hue, the artist charters out the essence behind the spiritual journeys of these ascetics. Striving to exemplify the subtle nuances of the concept of the eternal search for truth and peace, the artist depicts the back of the monk, always-on-the-move.
In this, he alludes to identification with their routine, lifestyles, their struggles and their eternal quest for knowledge, peace and truth in life. As works of art, he touches the aesthetic appeal of the masses, as he delivers strong realistic depictions of spiritual fervour and religious sentiments of divinity and eternity.
